The Bhakti center is a non-profit cultural and educational center in Gdańsk dedicated to Vedic culture — the classical spiritual tradition of India. We hold kirtan and meditation evenings, teach from the Bhagavad-gita, run a small shop of devotional and Indian cultural goods, and distribute free vegetarian food called prasadam.
No. The center is open to everyone regardless of background, nationality or belief. There is no membership, no initiation and no expectation that you change anything about your life. Many visitors come simply for the food, the music or the books.
No. Entry to the center, the kirtan evenings and the prasadam distribution are free of charge. The center is supported by donations and by sales from our shop.
