A small shop full of India

Incense, books, beads, cloth and gifts — chosen by people who use them every day, not by an algorithm.

What you will find

Everything on our shelves

The shop sits just inside the center, so you can browse it before or after any programme. Everything we stock is something we use ourselves.

If you are buying your first book or your first set of japa beads, ask — nobody here will upsell you. We would rather you leave with the right thing than the expensive thing.

  • Books & scripture

Bhagavad-gita, Srimad-Bhagavatam, biographies, cookbooks and children's stories, in several languages.

  • Incense & essential oils

Hand-rolled Indian incense, resins, oils and burners — sandalwood, nag champa, tulasi and more.

  • Japa beads & malas

Tulasi and sandalwood strands of 108 beads, bead bags, and neck beads.

  • Altar & devotional items

Small deities and Jagannath figures, lamps, offering trays, incense holders and pictures.

  • Indian clothing & fabric

Kurtas, shawls, scarves, dhotis and block-printed cotton — comfortable enough for everyday wear.

  • Gifts & ayurveda

Ayurvedic teas and soaps, spices, harmonium and kartal music accessories, and handmade cards.

A few of the things people take home most often.
